Tanya Bragin leads product at ClickHouse, a popular open source analytical database. She has over 20 years of experience in the data space, ranging from data analytics, to search, to security and network analytics. She started her career in consulting and sales engineering, and spent the last decade and a half growing product organizations from early stages to maturity at three data analytics startups, ExtraHop, Elastic, and now ClickHouse.
Adi Polak is an experienced software engineer and people manager. For most of her professional life, she dealt with data and machine learning for operations and analytics. As a data practitioner, she developed algorithms to solve real-world problems using machine learning techniques and leveraging expertise in Apache Spark, Kafka, HDFS, and distributed large-scale systems. As a manager, she led teams, and together they embarked on innovative journeys in the ML space and came back with staggering insights and learnings. Adi has taught Spark to thousands of students and is the author of the successful book Scaling Machine Learning with Spark. Earlier this year, she began a new adventure with data streaming, specifically Flink and ML inference, and is hooked.
Joe Reis, Co-Founder and CEO of Ternary Data, is a “recovering data scientist,” and a business-minded data nerd who’s worked in the data industry for 20 years. His responsibilities have ranged from statistical modeling, forecasting, machine learning, data engineering, data architecture, and everything else in between. Joe is co-host of the popular Monday Morning Data Chat as well as the newly launched Joe Reis Show. Joe is also co-author of the bestselling O'Reilly book: Fundamentals of Data Engineering. Joe also teaches at the University of Utah as well as runs several meetups, including The Utah Data Engineering Meetup and SLC Python. When he’s not busy running a company, teaching, or creating content, Joe often finds himself DJing/making music, rock climbing, or trail running in the mountains around Salt Lake City, Utah.
